Claire completed her MPhys in Physics at the University of Exeter in 2015, with a masters project on solution-processable graphene-based photodetectors.
She is currently in the first year of her PhD as part of the CDT in New and Sustainable Photovoltaics, working under the supervision of Prof. David Lidzey. Her research is focused on using spectroscopy techniques to investigate fluorescence lifetimes in perovskite and polymer PV devices.
In her spare time, she enjoys practising Taekwondo, playing video games (mostly Mario because she refuses to grow up), cooking and drinking copious amounts of tea. If she isn't doing these things, you'll probably find her in the pub.
